Forty-nine species of cheilostome Bryozoa, identified from bottom samples of the southern Australian continental shelf, were found in water depths of 65-340 m. Most species came from collections made by USS Oceanographer and HMAS Gascoyne. All species are described, discussed or figured and none is considered new to science. The concepts of some genera and species have been modified.
