Abstract

Sexually active and sexually inhibited rams had similar concentrations of fructose in their semen. The injection of 40 mg testosterone propionate every alternate day did not stimulate sexual activity in the sexually inhibited rams, nor did it increase the libido of rams which were already sexually active. The only effect the injections of testosterone propionate had on the semen was to increase the concentration of fructose in the seminal plasma.
