Abstract
The macrocyclic substance robustol trimethyl ether (2) has been synthesized by an unambiguous method. During a study of the reactions of model compounds a new synthesis of 1,14-bis-(3?,5?-dimethoxyphenyl)tetradecane (4) has been developed.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9732277
