N.I.R. absorption spectra of the phthalocyanines

Abstract

Single crystal, film, and selected vapour and solution n.i.r, absorption spectra are reported for H₂(pc), Cu(pc), Ni(pc), Zn(pc), Pd(pc), Fe(pc), Mn(pc) and Cr(pc). The transitions have been categorized and some suggestions are made concerning their origins.
