Synthesis and systemic fungicidal activity of N-(2-Bromo-2,2-dichloro-1-arylaminoethyl)formamides and related compounds

Abstract

The synthesis of several analogues of the fungicides triforine and chloraniformethan is described. The compounds comprise N-(2,2,2- trichloro-1-arylaminoethyl)formamides and N-(2-bromo-2,2-dichloro-1- arylaminoethyl)formamides. Several of the compounds are highly effective protectant and systemic fungicides.
