The coordinating power of oxime, oximato and O-methyloxime donor groups: The stability of copper(II) complexes

Abstract

The relative donor powers of oxime and O-methyloxime groups have been assessed from the stability of their coordination complexes with copper(II). The order of donor strengths observed is oximato >> oxime > O-methyloxime.
