Chemistry of the Podocarpaceae. LIV. Lignans from the Wood of Dacrydium intermedium

Abstract

Structures and absolute configurations are established for three new lignans isolated from the wood of the New Zealand gymnosperm Dacrydium intermedium Kirk by preparative h.p.l.c. of their acetates (1), (3) and (5). The ¹H and ¹³C N.M.R. spectra of phenyltetralin lactones and acetals are described.
