Imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine, bromo and methoxy derivatives: a ¹³C N.M.R. determination applied to nucleophilic substitution studies

Abstract

The ¹³C chemical shifts and coupling constants of imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine and some of its derivatives are reported and compared with those of other series. These data enable us to study the nucleophilic substitution of 3,5-dibromoimidazo[1,2-alpyrazine and 6,8-dibromoimidazo[1,2-a]pyrazine by a methoxy group.
