Structural Characterization of Di-μ-hydroxo-bis[trichloro(tetrahydrofuran)tin(II)] Bis(tetrahydrofuran)

Abstract

The title compound [( thf )Cl₃Sn(OH)₂SnCl₃( thf )].2thf ( thf = tetrahydrofuran ) has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure determination, allowing comparison of its geometry with the recently recorded [( thf )BrCl₂Sn(OH)₂Cl₂Br( thf )].2thf,¹ with which it is isomorphous.
