Heterobinuclear Oxo-Bridged Complexes. III. Cr^IIIOmo^V Compounds—Synthesis and Magnetic Properties

Abstract

Redox reactions between Cr^IVO (P) (P is a porphyrin dianion ) and Mo^IVO( dtc )² ( dtc is adithiocarbamate anion) result in the formation of oxo -bridged Cr¹¹¹OMO^V compounds. The variation of magnetic susceptibility with temperature to 25 K shows evidence for strong antiferromagnetic coupling for the pyrrolidyldithiocarbamate complex with J = -300 cm^-1.
