Exploration of funding models to support hybridisation of Australian primary health care organisations
Hybridisation of Primary Health Care (PHC) services has occurred in great strides in Australia over the past many years. Hybrid organisational models have shown to be efficient business models in an uncertain economic climate. However, there is a misalignment of funding models to support the hybridisation of PHC in Australia. This article explores current PHC funding models and discusses appropriate funding approaches to support the hybridisation process.
