Abstract

Part 1 (ibid. pp 47-61), on distribution, was not abstracted. 2. Seasonal variation in diet of yellow-footed rock-wallaby (Petrogale xanthopus) was found from examination of faeces from wallabies trapped in the South Flinders Ranges, Australia, from June 1979 to February 1981. The 5 main groups of feed plants were: grasses; Chenopodiaceae; plants with stellate trichomes (Solanaceae, Malvaceae and Amaranthaceae); browse (any other perennial); forbs (mainly ephemeral herbs).
