Tanja Junkers studied chemistry at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, where she worked for her Ph.D. thesis on laser single-pulse-initiated polymerization kinetics under the supervision of Michael Buback. In 2006, she joined the CAMD team at the University of New South Wales, where she focussed on novel controlled polymerization methods and mass spectrometric analysis of polymers. She is now a research staff member in the group of Christopher Barner-Kowollik at the University of Karlsruhe.
