Journal of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists

General Information

Exploration Geophysics seeks manuscripts which report the results of significant case histories, reviews, and relevant research in geophysics, with emphasis on application to Australian and similar environments. We interpret ´exploration´ very broadly, so that we welcome papers in geotechnical or environmental disciplines as well as in the more traditional fields of exploration for fuel or metallic resources.

When preparing a paper for publication, please follow Exploration Geophysics´s style as closely as possible. It may help to consult a recent issue or a sample issue online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Author Instructions.

Reprints can be ordered prior to publication. An order form is sent to the corresponding author with final page proofs. CSIRO Publishing supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their paper upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their papers at the time they complete author corrections. Authors may create links to their papers from their personal webpages. This file can be used to:

  • send to individual colleagues for non-commercial purposes
  • print out and distribute to colleagues attending any conference presentation you make
  • include in a course pack, subject to the usual copyright licensing agency arrangements.

However, the PDF may not be included on any website or on any server, including an institutional repository without prior approval. Please contact the Rights & Permissions Manager at publishing@csiro.au if you wish to use the PDF for any purpose other than those listed above.

All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
