Genetic modification of food is one of the most passionately debated topics of our time. However, in some of the arguments, there seems to be more passion than fact. The challenge with this video was to produce something less than 4 minutes long, yet was clear and easy to watch. It had to be fresh and light while still being credible and accurate. It was designed to present the scientists' perspective in a public forum – YouTube.
To promote debate in the online community that may view the video and allow CSIRO to respond to comments made about the content of the video.
Global users of the internet via YouTube, but mainly young, urban, Australians.
