Students will:
• enhance their understanding of the relationship
between Japanese language and culture and
compare and contrast it with their own
• come to understand and appreciate language in
  social, cultural and geographical contexts.

The Honeymooners uses the context of two holidays to explore the use of Japanese language. The holiday that starts disastrously turns out to be quite an adventure whereas the one that seemed so wonderful at the start goes off the rails.

The aim of this learning object is for students to:
• explore the use of the Japanese language within the context of going on a holiday
• practise their language skills through interactive games and activities.

This product was funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training under the National Asian Languages and Studies in Australian Schools (NALSAS) Strategy.
