Functional Plant Biology welcomes the submission of papers presenting original and substantially significant research. Acceptance of papers is determined by the Editorial Board, appointed in consultation with the Australian Society of Plant Scientists and the New Zealand Society of Plant Biologists.
New Submission System
The journal is currently moving to a new manuscript submission system. If your manuscript was submitted prior to 14 April 2011 you can continue to monitor its progress through OSPREY. All new manuscripts should be submitted via ScholarOne Manuscripts.
When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent copy of the journal or a sample issue online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Notice to Authors.
There are no page charges for FPB.
Reprints
Reprints can be ordered prior to publication. An order form is sent to the corresponding author with final page proofs.
CSIRO PUBLISHING supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their paper upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their papers at the time they complete author corrections. Authors may create links to their papers from their personal webpages. All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.
Indexing/Abstracting
The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
