Australian Systematic Botany welcomes the submission of papers presenting original and significant research. All papers are refereed. Editorial Board members may advise the Editor on the selection of referees and may adjudicate in the case of conflicting or adverse reports.
When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent copy of the journal or a sample issue online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Notice to Authors.
There are no page charges for Australian Systematic Botany.
Reprints
Reprints can be ordered prior to publication. An order form is sent to the corresponding author with final page proofs.
CSIRO PUBLISHING supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their paper upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their papers at the time they complete author corrections. Authors may create links to their papers from their personal webpages. All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
