A Complete Guide to Reptiles, now in a revised edition, provides accounts of more than 900 species of reptiles in Australia. The text of this edition has been completely updated, and 80 additional species are included. All species are illustrated with lively colour photographs showing them in their natural habitat.

The book also explains how reptiles are classified, how scientific and common names are applied, how to measure a reptile and how conservation status is determined. Photographs of different reptile habitats will help the reader pinpoint the likely location of particular species.
