| | This issue of Functional Plant Biology contains selected papers from the First International Plant Phenomics Symposium, held in Canberra, Australia, 21–24 April 2009.
This meeting brought together researchers with the common goal of adapting their plant physiology tools to plant phenomics applications. Application of these new technologies ranged from assessing leaf and whole plant level responses to abiotic and biotic stress to identifying mutants in structure and function. Papers range in scale from lab based model systems to crops in the field and native ecosystems. | |
