A description of interpersonal violence-related hospitalisations in New South Wales

Abstract

Interpersonal violence (IPV) includes a range of acts and behaviours, including physical violence, and is the term used to describe the intentional use of force or power by one individual or a group of individuals on another person. Interpersonal violence has many contributing factors, often interrelated, which can include social, economic, political, cultural, and biological factors.
