The Journal of Primary Health Care (JPHC) publishes original papers on primary health care relevant to Aotearoa New Zealand (NZ), Australian and Pacific Island primary care practitioners and academics.

Original research, systematic reviews and improving performance papers all undergo rigorous peer review.

Editorials, viewpoints and letters to the editor are also considered for publication. Detailed guidance for preparation of different types of contribution can be found in the Author Instructions.

All papers are also available free of charge from our website. High quality reprints may be ordered from the publisher.

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.

The full text of all articles is deposited in the Portico digital archive to guarantee long-term preservation.
