QUARANTINE INTERCEPTION NOTES: Grapevine corky bark disease: a serious quarantine threat of grapevines for Australia

Abstract

Grapevine corky bark disease is not known to occur in Australia and poses a serious threat to Australia’s growing viticulture industry. The disease was recently detected in a grapevine cultivar imported from France undergoing testing at the Post-Entry Quarantine facility in Victoria. The cultivar has been destroyed.
