Abstract

An isolate of Venturia inaequalis from the Orange region of New South Wales had an ED₅₀ of 0.97 μg/mL for the fungicide myclobutanil. The ED₅₀ indicative of resistance to this fungicide is ≥  0.1 μg/mL. This is the first record in Australia of V. inaequalis resistant to a Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI) fungicide.
