Abstract

A whitefly transmitted Begomovirus (Geminiviridae: Begomovirus) with a satellite β-DNA associated with yellow vein mosaic disease of mesta (Hibiscus cannabinus and Hibiscus sabdariffa) has been detected for the first time in mesta growing regions of India.
