CSIRO Publishing produces approximately 45 new scientific and technical books each year and maintains a backlist of over 1200 titles.

Our internationally recognised publishing program covers a wide range of subject areas, including agriculture, aquatic science, the plant and animal sciences, forestry, environmental science and natural history.

A growing number of books are now available digitally and can be purchased from us as hosted Collections by our library customers. Individual eBooks can be purchased as downloads for personal use from our retail partners.

If you are considering writing a book or you have a contract with us, you will find our Information for Authors of interest and may wish to contact our Publishing Director.

In addition to our own publishing program, we distribute publications from numerous Australian and international publishing partners.

Books Online Catalogue

A complete catalogue of all our book products is available online. Titles are sorted by subject on the catalogue home page, but you may choose to search for specific items using the powerful but user-friendly search engine. You may also select one of these handy options to get information on new publications:

New Releases - See the new titles we have published over the last three months.

Forthcoming Releases - View details of the titles we will be publishing in the next three months.

Early Alert Service - Receive automatic email notification of new books or journals, or join our print mailing list.
