Abstract

The synthesis, structure, and magnetism is reported for an antiferromagnetically coupled, disc-shaped cluster containing the anionic ligand carbamoylcyanonitrosomethanide (ccnm), [Fe₈O₆(MeO)₆(ccnm)₆], with an Fe^III₈O₃ core.
