General Information

Australasian Plant Pathology welcomes the submission of papers presenting original and significant research. All papers are refereed rigorously and constructively, in consultation with our Editorial Board.

When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent paper copy of the journal or a sample issue. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Guidelines for Authors.

There are no page charges for Australasian Plant Pathology.

Reprints

Reprints are available and order forms with details of costs will be distributed to authors with proofs.

CSIRO PUBLISHING supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their paper upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their papers at the time they complete author corrections. Authors may create links to their papers from their personal webpages. All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.

Indexing/Abstracting

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.

Submission

Submission of a manuscript is taken to mean that the results reported have not been published elsewhere and are not being considered for publication elsewhere. A summary of the findings in the proceedings of a Conference or in an extension article is not necessarily regarded as prior publication. However, if substantial parts of the data, such as those in Tables and Figures, have been published before, the inclusion of extra information may not alter the judgement that the manuscript is not new.

To submit a manuscript for publication, please use our online journal management system OSPREY and follow the instructions for uploading your files. Once submitted your manuscript will be assigned a number.  This number can be used to track the progress of your manuscript though the publication process.

If accepted, the manuscript will be returned to you for revision.  Authors should note that, if a manuscript is not revised and returned to the appropriate Senior Editor within 6 weeks of being returned to the author(s), it will be treated as a new manuscript and will be subject to the full review process.

Australasian Plant Pathology is published by CSIRO PUBLISHING on behalf of the Australasian Plant Pathology Society.
