Abstract

In April 1998 Normandy successfully flew a new helicopter borne TDEM system. This system has been in constant use and data comparing ground and airborne TDEM are presented. In December 2000 a new non-metallic version of the system was flown which allows a combined transmitter and receiver to be flown at 30 metres terrain clearance. Data comparing the Mk I and Mk II versions are presented.
