Abstract

The 2-D Electrical Resistivity surveys were carried out in a site in Sungai Nibong, Penang. This technique has proofed to be successful in mapping the depth and location of the boulders buried underground, which are typical features of the area. The results can then be used by civil engineers to design the piling foundation of the proposed buildings.
