The Survival of Airborne Microorganisms I. Experiments Near O°c With Some Psychrophilic Bacteria

Abstract

The rate of death of airborne organisms was studied for one strain each of Achromobacter, Pseudomonas, and Micrococcus at relative humidities between 45 and 90 per cent. at DoC. For all three organisms the rates of death were least and of a similar magnitude at 65-70 per cent. R.H.
