Abstract

Calomela Hope, 1840, is redefined leaving the genus with 23 valid species including three new synonymies. Keys are produced to the species of Calomela and to separate the eight genera closely related to Calomela. The distributions of the species are mapped and the host plants listed. A list is given of the 33 species removed from Calomela and placed in other genera by the author in this and other recent papers. This list includes five new synonymies and seven new combinations.
