The Estimation of Latent Infection in Oranges

Abstract

The main objective of work described in this paper was to find out what differences occurred in the degree of latent infection of Washington Navel oranges grown under diHerent circumstances and treated in various ways. Observations were also made of fungi occUrring as latent infections and on the conditions for, and mode of, infection by Colletotrichum gloeosporoides, the principal form concerned.
