General Information

Australian Mammalogy welcomes the submission of papers presenting original and significant research on any aspect of the biology and ecology of Australian mammals (see Scope). Papers are externally peer-reviewed, in consultation with our Associate Editors.

When preparing a paper for publication, please consult the Notice to Authors, where detailed guidelines are provided.

There are no page charges, except for reproduction of colour figures.

Submission of a paper is taken to mean that the content has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. Conference abstracts and posters where the full dataset is not presented and the interpretation of results is not developed would not normally be regarded as publications but if material has been widely disseminated in report form or on the web, please consult the Editor.

Reprints

Authors may order hardcopy reprints of their papers at the time they complete author corrections. An order form is sent to the corresponding author with final page proofs.

CSIRO PUBLISHING also supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their paper upon publication. Authors may create links to their papers from their personal webpages. This file can be used to:

send to individual colleagues for non-commercial purposes

print out and distribute to colleagues attending any conference presentation you make

include in a course pack, subject to the usual copyright licensing agency arrangements.

However, the PDF may not be included on any website or on any server, including an institutional repository without prior approval. Please contact the Rights & Permissions Manager at publishing@csiro.au if you wish to use the PDF for any purpose other than those listed above.

All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.

Indexing/Abstracting

The journal is indexed/abstracted in a wide variety of databases.
