Applying the technology and lessons learned from field developments in west Africa and the North Sea to help unlock Australia’s more complex gas discoveries

Marin Abélanet transferred from Acergy’s Africa and Mediterranean office in Paris to take up the position of Technical Director for the Asia and Middle East. Marin brings with him an extensive experience of large deep water projects that have been executed in west Africa in the past five years, including BP Greater Plutonio. Prior to joining Acergy, Marin worked for Coflexip Stena Offshore for 15 years, with the majority of his time dedicated to offshore deepwater developments.
