Abstract
Accelerometer records have been obtained by BMR and ANU in collaboration with Airships Pacific Pty Ltd demonstrating the stability of the airship for geological and geophysical observations (L. Harrington pers comm 1989, Musgrave, 1989). In particular there now appears to be considerable potential for the installation of a marine gravity meter for regional exploration. Negotiations are proceeding with BMR and ANU to secure a suitable instrument for feasibilty trials.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG989399
