Abstract

The new species Orectognathus kanangra (New South Wales), Orectognathus alligator and Orectognathus coccinatus (Queensland) are described. Notes are given on variation and distribution of some previously described species. These include the first Western Australian record of the genus. O. sarasini Emery (New Caledonia) is illustrated, and coded descriptions of all 29 known Orectognathus species are presented.
