Project updates—North West Shelf Joint Venture Partnership

Kevin Gallagher has 19 years of upstream and downstream oil and gas industry experience in Europe and Australia and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He joined Mobil North Sea Ltd in 1991 as a drilling engineer. While at Mobil, Kevin spent the majority of his time in drilling engineering and offshore supervisory positions. Kevin joined Woodside Energy Ltd in 1998 as a senior drilling engineer working in the North West Shelf Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU). His career at Woodside includes two years leading the Australia business unit where he was responsible for the growth and operations of a significant portfolio of oil and gas production facilities. In February 2010 Kevin assumed the role of Woodside’s Executive Vice President North West Shelf, and is responsible for leading the development and continued safe and reliable operations of the North West Shelf Venture. Kevin also chairs Woodside’s Business Operating Committee, which provides oversight of the company’s businesses.
