Abstract

Global energy markets are evolving in response to geopolitical events, the pace of technology innovation and climate goals. These developments have also brought energy security into sharp focus and created new opportunities for Australia to strengthen its role as a strategic energy partner, including to meet growing LNG demand in our region. This panel will examine how recent geopolitical developments and President Donald Trump’s re-election are reframing the conversation about the energy transformation and Australia’s role in our region’s energy security and stability.
