Abstract
Sheep cannulated in the rumen and abomasum were fed a diet of fresh mulga nettle (Halorhagis odontocarpa) and measurements of organic matter and nitrogen digestion in the rumen were obtained. Of the nitrogen ingested by the fistulated sheep 9.0 ± 4.34% escaped digestion in the rumen.https://doi.org/10.1071/RJ9800214
