Graphics hardware in Australia

Abstract

In the last few years there has been an explosion in the range of computer graphics hardware available on the Australian market. This paper summarises the equipment which is currently available. Typical characteristics and prices are presented but these should always, of course, be verified from particular equipment suppliers. Brand-names of equipment known to the author are given, but this list is not claimed to be exhaustive.
