The Tipulidae (Diptera) of Australia. XI*. The genus Dolichopeza Curtis

Abstract

The Australian species of the genus Dolichopeza Curtis are revised. Twenty-five species are redescribed and one, D. longidigitalis Alexander, is treated as a synonym of D. cinerea (Macquart). Three new species are described: D. ballaratiensis, D. corrinnaiensis and D. nigrina.
