The synthesis of Per-O-benzyl-α-D-galactosyl and -α-L-fucosyl bromides

Abstract

The title compounds have been synthesized by per-O-benzylation of the appropriate allyl glycosides, followed by removal of the allyl group and replacement by bromide.
