Abstract
There were 85,626 births to 84,288 women reported in 2004 (Table 1). This is the lowest number of births in the last 5 years. The number of twin pregnancies has declined slightly since 2001, while the number of triplet pregnancies varied between 22 and 30 per year.https://doi.org/10.1071/NB05S19
