General Information

Brain Impairment welcomes submissions related to the aetiology, epidemiology, treatment and outcomes of brain impairment with a particular focus on the implications for functional status, participation, rehabilitation and quality of life. Disciplines reflect a broad multidisciplinary scope and include neuroscience, neurology, neuropsychology, psychiatry, clinical psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work, and nursing (see Scope). All articles are externally peer-reviewed, in consultation with our Associate Editors.

When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent paper online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Author Instructions.

Submission of an article is taken to mean that the content has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. There are currently no submission or page charges for Brain Impairment.

CSIRO Publishing also supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their article upon publication. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their articles. All papers are also available from our website either by subscription or sale of individual papers.
