These services are provided by highly qualified and experienced subject-matter editors who can help refine your manuscript and present your research for publication.

What are the services offered by Editage?

Three categories of language editing services are available at discounted rates: Advanced Editing Service, Premium Editing Service, and Premium PLUS Editing Service.

Discount offer

Authors that opt to use one of the three language editing services will receive a 10% discount on Editage’s standard retail pricing. For each order placed, 10% of the final price is returned by Editage to CSIRO Publishing as a referral fee.

The full amount received by CSIRO Publishing is reinvested into language and writing assistance for authors from Research4Life countries. This is enabled through the work of our Editors who identify and select eligible manuscripts in need of pre-acceptance language editing or improvement. The option to access fully-funded language editing services is offered to these authors on a first-come, first-served basis per financial year while funds are available.

Do I have to submit my manuscript?

Language editing through Editage or other commercial editing services are completely optional for authors and not required prior to submission of an original or revised manuscript, even if recommended by an Editor.

Will my manuscript be accepted if I place an order with Editage?

Authors that choose to use language editing services provided by Editage or other commercial services are not guaranteed acceptance by your journal of choice.
