Abstract

The endemic Australian genus Millotia Cass. is revised. Sixteen species are recognised. Six species, M. dimorpha, M. eichleri, M. falcata, M. jacksonii, M. newbeyi and M. pilosa, and a new variety, M. tenuifolia var. laevis, are described for the first time. Millotia depauperata Stapf is reinstated, being an earlier name for M. inopinata Schodde. Millotia greevesii F.Muell. is considered to contain three subspecies, i.e. subsp. greevesii, subsp. glandulosa (Schodde) P.S.Short and subsp. helmsii (F.Muell. & Tate) P.S.Short.
