Abstract

Australian tiger beetles of the tribes Collyrini, Megacephalini and Cicindelini and taxa of the genera Tricondyla, Megacephala, Distipsideraand Nickerleaare distinguished in identification keys. Diagnoses on the basis of adult characters, including the female and male genitalia for most species, are provided for one species of Tricondyla, two subgenera and 24 species of Megacephala, 12 species of

Distipsidera, one species of Rhysopleura and two species of Nickerlea.
