Sequential polypeptides containing γ-Benzyl-L-glutamyl residues

Abstract

Polypeptides with dipeptide repeating units have been prepared from the corresponding dipeptide p-nitrophenyl ester p-toluenesulphonates. Most of the products contained γ-benzyl-L-glutamyl and related substituted benzyl ester residues.
