Structure of 4-Arylaminomethylene-3-methylisoxazol-5-ones

Abstract

Study of the i.r., u.v., and N.M.R. spectra of 4-arylaminomethylene-3- methyl-isoxazol-5-ones indicates that they exist in the tautomeric form (2). Four new halo derivatives of 4-anilinomethylene-3-methylisoxazol- 5-one have been prepared.
